INNOTECS News - Now it’s official!

Innotecs is now an official association

Just around New Year the Secretary general and the Trasurer of INNOTECS gathered for visiting the notarys office in The Hague. The statutes of the official association INNOTECS were to be signed. “As an International network we very much need to take the next step and become a legal entity and establish our network as an official association” says Marko Kemppinen, Chairman of the board.

INNOTECS started as a project supported by Erasmus+ funding, and after the project period ended, the network had grown strong enough to continue as an independent

Cooperation across the Atlantic

INNOTECS and TA3 (Trans-Atlantic Technology and Training Alliance) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in February this Spring.

The TA3 (Trans-Atlantic Technology and Training Alliance) is a consortium of leading community and technical colleges in the U.S. and Europe that promotes learning and innovation across borders, supports regional economies, and promotes the value and importance of a global perspective.

INNOTECS Conference 2018

Dear INNOTECS members,

 

It is a pleasure to pre-announce our next INNOTECS conference.

 

The board decided in its February meeting to add another half a day to the conference to bring more benefit for the members, so make sure you SAVE THE DATE.

In the meantime we are preparing a very interesting academic program with a (technical-) school visit and a company visit

Thessaloniki Innotecs seminar

Before the EfVET2017-conference in Thessaloniki, Innotecs members gathered to attend Innotecs seminar at MET hotel on Wednesday 25th of November.

Innotecs very first General Assembly addressed the history of Innotecs, report from the Treasures and the proposal of official status of Innotecs after first of January 2018.

Innotecs-conference in Valencia

After the final Erasmus+ project meeting we arranged a conference to all associated Innotecs partners.

After setting up the theme, we had a chance to hear the key note speaker Javier Lopez Mora.

The main part of the conference was to bring together our partrners, and to talk about the future. For that we used World Cafe- methodology, which was successful.

We also had a chance to make a company visit to Faurecia , where we had nice opportunity to become acquainted with a very high quality

INNOTECS presented in project fair in the Basque Country

Last Wednesday 9th, HETEL, an association of 21 VET centers in the Basque Country, held their second Project Innovation Fair.  INNOTECs project was presented there to more than 65 participants from twelve different schools.

Anabel Menica ran a round table where the participants had the opportunity to receive direct information about the project and our aims.  They wanted to have all the details: number of VET schools involved, countries, companies, …  The participants were promised they would keep updated and would get all the necessary information to join the partnership.

Innotecs logo designers are awarded

Richard van der Molen, director of Landstede in the Netherlands, presents the Logo award to his students Nanouk and Tosca.
These two students competed with students from Finland, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Denmark for the honor of designing the logo for INNOTECS.
The logo and colors will be used in all expressions and marketing communications of this International Network of Technical Schools.

Italy meeting

The second project meeting was between 28.-29.4.2015 in Istituto di Istruzione Superiore "F. Brunelleschi-L. Da Vinci" in Frosinone, Italy.

During the first working day we had a chance to enjoy a luxurious and gorgeous lunch in Istituto Istruzione Superiore Ceccano, which was prepared by the students. Here's a small video clip from the project coordinator's acceptance speech:
